The small green gherkin from Paris:
- Soil maintenance : before sowing, loosen the soil on 30 cm. Sunny exposure and sheltered from the wind
- Exposure : sunny or half-shade, sheltered from the wind
- Sowing : 3.5 cm deep in pots of 2 to 3 seeds. Thin out to leave only one seedling every 90 cm and 130 cm between rows
- Emergence: in 6 to 8 days in soil at 14°C
- Watering: regular, do not wet the leaves
- Harvest: 45 days after sowing, harvest regularly as soon as they measure 3-5 cm
- Conservation: pickles can be kept in jars in vinegar
- Origin: from the Himalayas. Appreciated in France since the 16th century
